Sellers
Selling through MarketPrice is easier than selling through any other channel. Simply find the Market for what you're looking to sell, and:
Send an Offer to a Wanted listing
OR
create your own For Sale listing
Sending an Offer is a good idea because it gets you noticed by an interested buyer immediately. It is potentially a very quick way to sell your item. Buyers are automatically notified when you place an offer on their Wanted listing. When the buyer accepts your offer, a legally-binding sale is made.
For Sale listings let you specify your own price and quantity. A legally-binding sale is completed when a buyer clicks "Buy Now" on your listing and confirms the purchase.
Legal Obligations apply, just like in any other trade forum. You can place multiple Offers and multiple For Sale listings at the same time, providing you have sufficient quantity to honour all the Offers and For Sale listings you make.
Buyers
Buying through MarketPrice is as easy as it should be. Simply find the Market for the item you want, and:
Buy Now from a For Sale listing
OR
create your own Wanted listing
Using Buy Now you can complete a purchase in just 2 clicks. Some For Sale listings may have a flexible quantity, which gives you a choice of how many to buy. Once you click Buy Now and confirm your purchase on the following screen, a legally-binding sale is completed.
Wanted listings let you specify your own price and quantity. Sellers will be able to make Offers on your Wanted listing, which you can Accept or Decline at your discretion. Note that Accepting an Offer completes the purchase and forms a legally-binding contract.
Legal Obligations apply, just like in any other trade forum. Because of the nature of Buy Now, you can Buy Now multiple times only if you plan to honour all the purchases you make. If you create a Wanted listing and later use Buy Now to purchase the item you were after, you should remove the Wanted listing, unless you plan to honour it as well.
Buying and Selling at the same time
We don't have an explicit restriction on buying and selling in the same Market at the same time. You are allowed to Buy Now and Offer, as well as have For Sale and Wanted listings concurrently, providing that you are willing and able to honour all purchases, offers and listings you enter into.
